With every rental, you will receive a storage box with the following:
Small shop vac to blow up the balls
Cones to lay out a soccer field and goals
What types of surfaces can we play on?
The balls can be used on grass, synthetic turf. . The bubble should NOT be used on ANY hard surfaces, whether indoor or outdoor, like a gym, concrete, asphalt, or rocky sand. This is primarily for safety.
What will we need to inflate the balls?
Access to working electrical outlets. We provide a small shop vac that's light-weight and easy to use to inflate the balls but you will need power to run the vac. We recommend scouting your favorite parks and don't assume just because the park has outlets, they work. Bring a phone charger and test them.
Are the balls easy to inflate?
Yes! It may about about 60-90 seconds per ball to inflate but it's pretty simple. We will show you how to do it when you pick them up. Remember though, you will need access to power to run the shop vac.
Do we have to play soccer?
No! Soccer does provide some structure to the fun but by all means, just run into each, fall down, do flips! Just have fun and be sure to take lots of video!
Are the balls easy to get in?
Yes, although you may need help from a friend to get your arms through the shoulder straps (like a backpack).
Are their age limits?
Generally speaking, 5 year olds and up will be tall enough to wear the balls properly and run around. However, even younger kids will enjoy climbing into the balls and rolling around. We currently do not have bubbles large enough for adults.
Could the participants get hurt?
Common sense should be applied here. If you're just having fun playing soccer or bumping into each other, you're not anymore likely to get hurt than any other day at the park. The bubbles cover from about your knees to above your head and fit pretty snuggly so you won't bounce around inside them. Use common sense, don't do anything you're mom would object to and have fun!
Why do we need to sign waivers then?
Lawyers! They said it's a must. We are a family run, home based business and the waivers protect us from trouble. Again, you're not likely to get hurt however, every participant or parent/guardian of a participant MUST sign a waiver.
Why do we have to pick up the bubbles; could you deliver them?
Not at this time due to licensing (more red tape; boo!) Perhaps someday we may be able to offer a delivery service but for now, the bubbles need to be picked up from our home. Back right up to our garage and we'll help you load them.
Why are pick-up only in the morning? Can I drop them back off later?
Generally speaking, morning pick-ups work best for us but we are flexible. We always reach out a day or so before to confirm the time. We will work with you the best we can and typically you can drop them off after your event if you'd like. They are due back by 8:30 AM the next day at the latest.
